Day 165: Thankful Today For The Stone Path

There are times life throws stones in our direction that block us, cause us to stumble or fall. But I am thankful for the times those stones become a path to greater strength and resilience, because they lead us to surrender to Him.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to "the 25th journey." Thank you for joining me in a series of journeys. My first being an exploration of gratitude. I have challenged myself to refocus. I heard someone once say, "You change your life by changing your mind." So I am choosing to not always dwell on what my life isn't, but instead to find something everyday to be thankful for. It doesn't have to be an outstanding event. Recently, a friend reminded me if we are thankful for the small things, like a beautiful spring day, the big things will mean so much more.

You are welcome to join me on this journey. If you can relate to one of my posts, add a comment or share what you are thankful for today. I plan to walk this journey for 365 days. Will they be sequential? Probably not. Life happens. But I plan to spend at least a year developing a habit of gratitude. Each day I will consider, "I am thankful today for..."
